FinCo Supply & Trading B.V. recently received the license Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).
An AEO license is issued by customs once the company meets a number of set criteria and offers various advantages in trade.
In a reaction, Chief Executive Officer Pieter Peeters indicates that he and his team are delighted with the permit: "We are very pleased with this milestone. Since the establishment of FinCo in 2013, we are constantly working on optimizing our administrative, security and operational processes. Our goal is to add as much value as possible to the total supply chain of our customers. This permit ensures even faster and more efficient service and encourages us to continue optimizing our processes every day."
Companies involved in EU cross-border goods movements and their suppliers are affected by this legislation. The European Union also wants to offer better facilities for businesses. These facilities lead to less logistic delays and lower administrative costs. Companies can therefore request the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). An AEO license is valid in all member states of the EU. The Dutch customs have trust in FinCo Supply & Trading B.V. and issued the AEO permit on 20 December 2017.
